Elizabeth and Lucky were high school sweethearts until Helena got in the way of marital bliss!

On the Soap Opera, General Hospital, relationships come and go. Sometimes they’re very fast, and sometimes they are slow. Lucky and Elizabeth have been through quite a journey. I remember when they were not even romantically involved. They were buddies in High School. Actually, their clique consisted of Lucky, Elizabeth, Emily, and Nicholas.

The connection between Lucky and Elizabeth grew after Elizabeth was raped. Lucky was there for her each step of the way. Without Lucky, Elizabeth was destined for a serious depression and trouble.

Lucky and Elizabeth fell in love. They had excellent chemistry and a strong bond of friendship. Lucky gave Elizabeth a promise ring in a candle lit chapel. They were destined to be together until Helena kidnapped Lucky. Helena made it appear like Lucky died in a fire. I’ll never forget Elizabeth’s terrible agony when she thought her true love was dead.

About a year later, Lucky returned, but he wasn’t the same. He was also played by a different character. Elizabeth moved on, but years later, they rekindled what was lost. They married.

But their ending is not happily ever after. Lucky became addicted to painkillers after a back injury. He hid his addiction, and had an affair with Maxie Jones just because she was getting him drugs. Maxie and Lucky had sex in Elizabeth’s bed. That is where they got caught by Elizabeth!

Elizabeth was so upset that she ended up in bed with Jason. And guess what? Elizabeth is now pregnant with Jason’s baby. She has told everyone that the baby is Lucky’s. Lucky went to rehab; he got clean, and got Elizabeth back. However, Maxie claims that she is pregnant and Ric has planted drugs on Lucky!

What will happen next?
