Kelly Ripa began as an actress in high school, and is now a talk show host on the daytime show, Live with Regis and Kelly.

Since February 2001, Kelly Maria Ripa is a co-host on the Live with Regis and Kelly show. She was born on October 2, 1970 in Stratford, New Jersey. She is a wife to Mark Consuelos, and they have three children together: Michael Joseph Consuelos, born June 2, 1997, Lola Grace Consuelos, born June 16, 2001, and Joaquin Antonio Consuelos, born February 3, 2003.

Kelly started out performing in high school plays. She landed a role on Dance Party USA (a teen dance show after school.) Then she landed a role on All My Children as Hayley Vaughan in 1990. She played a trouble teen and became very popular.

In 1995, Kelly met Mark on All My Children. He played Mateo. They had an on screen and off screen romance. They eloped May 1, 1996 in Las Vegas. They both left All My Children in 2002.

Kelly also worked on a sitcom, Hope & Faith, from September 2003 to May 2006. It was canceled due to low ratings. She played, Faith, a fired soap star trying to make a new life.

Kelly is well liked and known to be outgoing and spontaneous on Live. Ripa won three Soap Opera Digest Awards for playing Hayley on All My Children in 1996, 1998 & 2000. In April 2006, she won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Class Special for co-hosting the 2005 Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade with Regis Philbin and Ryan Seacrest.

Kelly broke the Guinness World Record for custard pie throwing. She threw 24 pies in one minute at Wilmer Valderrrama.
