The Guiding Light's Reva has had some year! Her battle with cancer and dealing with her family relationships have been crazy.
Reva has been a long standing character on the Guiding Light. She is a mother, sister, aunt, friend, ex-wife, and a vivacious woman. Most people love her and others hate her. It's hard to decide or figure out Reva.
Reva has one true love - Josh. Josh is a down to earth hard working guy. He is very attractive and cares deeply about people. However, Reva and Josh have a very bumpy history. They are usually red hot in love or battling it out. Reva hurt Josh deeply when she told him he doesn't do it for her when she went through the change of life. But they slowly made their way back together and Josh forgave her.
Just when things were getting good - Reva was diagnosed with breast cancer. She felt justified in keeping this a secret from Josh for months. She confided in Billy, Josh's brother.
Reva left Josh to get treatment, but Josh thought she was having an affair with Billy! Reva almost died, but Josh pulled her back to life. Things got really nasty when Josh and Cassie (Reva's sister) hooked up and now are in love. Cassie and Reva used to be close, but as you can imagine, tension is as thick as a wall. Not to mention, Billie is in love with Reva, but the feeling is not mutual.
Now Reva is back and healthy. Josh knows about the cancer, but he's still with Cassie. Cassie is getting a bit jealous and wants him to stay far from Reva. But Reva and Josh have a very long history.
