Former off-Broadway star treks across Europe, vacations in Latin America, and adventures across the United States. Fun travel and vacation host.

After watching Samantha Brown's Great Vacation Homes, Great Hotels, and her latest adventures on Great Weekends, it was not surprising to learn she was captain of her high school cheerleading team. Samantha is not only stunning in a bikini, but upbeat and adventurous as she charms audiences around the globe. Whether she's learning the latest hip-hop dances in Atlanta or taste testing Parisian pastry in France, she is always ready and willing to try something new.

Fantastic Fun American Weekends

Summer 2009 has taken Samantha to Memphis, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, and the Rocky Mountains on her show, Samantha's Great Weekends. She used a tee-shirt gun to give out souvenirs at an Atlanta Braves baseball game. That night, Samantha danced the night away in an exclusive Atlanta nightclub. On another episode, Brown was dug out of an imitation avalanche by a rescue dog in the Colorado Rockies, then warmed up in a cabin with a south-western style lunch.

Passport to Latin America

In Sao Paulo, Brazil, Samantha gives travel safety tips, shopping must-haves, and a multi-cultural overview of Brazil's 2nd largest city. She takes her viewers on a tour thru the world's largest Japanese community outside of Japan, where Brown snacks on sushi and octopus donuts. In another episode, Samantha practices her Portuguese with a bartender in Rio De Janeiro. Throughout the show, she reports on the prices of the local hotels and food, giving potential travelers a practical look at top Latin vacation destinations.

Samantha Brown -Travel Goddess

Growing up in New Hampshire, and now living in New York City, Samantha Brown is a small town girl turned world traveler. She is not cynical and complicated like fellow Travel Channel host, Anthony Bourdain, nor is she interested in tasting exotic cuisine like Andrew Zimmern. Samantha's vacation series is also very unique from Bridget's Marquardt's extremely sexy beach show.

Brown's simplistic, fun-loving hosting style appeals to middle America, giving viewers an inside look into some of the world's top vacation spots. She makes far-out travels ideas seem realistic and doable for the normal American. Whether seeking a romantic get-away or a historic European road tour, Samantha shows how to make the best of any dream vacation.

In a Q&A with "Sam", she describes her idea of a perfect girls only weekend, "Maybe a luxury hotel with an incredible pool so we could all lie around like lazy seals, then roll into the water with little effort."
